yoko kikuchi was born and raised in manhattan. she went to art school, got her BFA, and is currently residing in the south bronx!!! wheeee!

yoko got her first guitar at age 13 and banged away at it in a series of embarrassing riot grrrl cover songs in her bedroom, eventually beginning to write her own songs. in high school she began the long-term collaboration with ann zakaluk and josh malamy. they were called black molly then. the current incarnation of their endeavors is known as dream bitches.

yoko likes bubble tea and bike riding an awful lot.
